About the Directory

About EBikeServiceFinder

An independent directory focused on one practical question: which e-bike repair shops publish policies explaining what brands and types of work they will accept?

Our Purpose

Finding a Shop Shouldn't Be Guesswork

Buying an e-bike from an online or direct-to-consumer brand does not automatically mean a nearby bicycle repair shop will service it.

Shops establish their own service policies. Some distinguish between mechanical repairs and electrical work. Others publish specific brand restrictions, exclusions, or acceptance conditions.

EBikeServiceFinder organizes these published policies so e-bike owners can investigate service options before making a trip or arranging a repair.

The directory focuses on shops that publish their e-bike service policies on their own websites. A general bicycle repair listing without a published e-bike service policy does not qualify.

What We Document

Service Coverage Is Not One Single Answer

Any-Brand Mechanical Service

Whether a shop explicitly publishes acceptance of mechanical repairs across e-bike brands.

Any-Brand Electrical Service

Whether a shop explicitly publishes acceptance of electrical repairs across e-bike brands.

Brands Named in Policies

Specific e-bike brands named or covered in the shop's own published service policy.

Published Exclusions

Brands, components, repair categories, or service restrictions explicitly stated by the shop.

Mechanical and electrical coverage are separate. A shop accepting brake or tire work does not automatically accept battery, motor, or controller repairs.

Our Editorial Standard

We Record What Shops Publish

Each directory record is based on information from the shop's own published service or policy page. We preserve the substance and scope of that information rather than expanding it into broader service claims.

1

Shop's Own Source

We use the shop's own website and published e-bike service-policy information.

2

Separate Policy Fields

Mechanical acceptance, electrical acceptance, named brands, and exclusions are documented independently.

3

Source and Date

Listings include the original policy source and the date it was checked.

We do not infer brand coverage from photographs, customer reviews, product sales, dealer status, or general advertising.

When a shop does not publish an answer, the relevant policy field remains unstated. Silence is not treated as acceptance or refusal.

Independence

An Independent Directory

EBikeServiceFinder is an independent information directory. It is not an e-bike manufacturer, repair shop, authorized dealer network, or warranty provider.

Inclusion in the directory does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of repair quality.

Shops control their own service policies. The directory documents the published information available when a source was checked.

Policies and service availability can change. Always confirm your specific repair directly with the shop before traveling.

Corrections and Contributions

Help Keep the Information Accurate

If you know a shop that publishes its e-bike service policy, you can suggest it for review. If an existing listing contains outdated or incorrect information, you can submit a correction.
